In cold-process soap making, you use Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to create hard bars of soap. In liquid soap making,
you use a different type of lye called Potassium hydroxide (KOH).

Caprylyl glycol
is a humectant agent, it hydrates your skin by attracting—and retaining—water. It also has conditioningproperties, so it softens the skin.
Sorbic Acid
kill microorganism, prevent/retard their growth and reproduction protecting personal care products from spoilage.
Tussah Silk in soap recipes will make for a soft, silky, luxurious feel to soaps.  Many soap makers including Serendipity
feel it contributes a more “slippery” feel and also gives the soaps a slightly shinier appearance.

These paper soaps are for a quick use only and not to be used on the face – test patch before use if unsure.
